The 3D print of my PK class wagon has finally arrived:
I'm going to make a mold so I can make casts of the print using Epoxy resin. To do this I need to get rid of the small enclosed space I'd created for the coupler. I'll fill these in with ye olde Tamiya Putty. Next is to attempt to make a cast.

What products are you using for casting? I've always wanted to give it a go.. saw a kids kit in the model shop I almost brought once!
ReplyDeleteI've got some standard Epoxy from Mitre 10 which I've used previously for water, and casting rubber from this outfit:
