TT:120 - what does it mean for NZ120?

 Hornby has announced its new TT:120 range. This follows PECO's announcement earlier this year of its own TT:120 range. Both Hornby and PECO have apparently chosen 1:120 rather than go back to the old British TT scale (which was 1:104) so that their models are compatible with European TT scale (which is 1:120).

Of interest for NZ120 is the inclusion of British Rail Mk2 carriages, 150 of which were imported into New Zealand during the 1990s:


Might be worth ordering a train of them to make a Capital Connection...
